Mayabunder is situated in the northern part of Middle Andaman, approximately 242 km away from Port Blair. It is a tranquil destination with fewer tourist spots compared to its neighboring islands. The coastline of Mayabunder is adorned with mangroves, and its beaches are not as popular as those found on other islands. However, Karmatang Beach stands out for its scenic beauty, boasting a long stretch of gray volcanic sand and shallow waters.
