Rangat
LONG ISLAND
Located about 90km from Port Blair on the way to Rangat, This bird shaped small island is a new tourist destination. There are more than hundreds of rooms, hotels are going to be opened and a long beach at Lalaji Bay just 5.6km away from the jetty is one of the rarest and ideal for boating and fishing and other water sports. Long Island is connected to Port Blair and Rangat by a regular fairy service. There is a helipad already completed and ready for public service. Yeratta had a small jetty where the tourists can reach Long islands within 40 min by fibre boat and 1 hour by ferry boat from Yeratta Jetty. One increasing tourists flow the boat will be available at Yeratta and Long Island.
